2009 - Final Team Challenge Pro-Am Leaderboard

John Bell, representing sponsor Central Coast Audi but plays out of The Grand in Queensland, pipped The Vintage member, David Dosser by one point to take out the 2009 Team Challenge Pro-Am.

The competition was keenly contested over both days and after the 1st round, only 10 points separated 1st and last.

Like their tournament playing partners, the amateurs all found the going extremely tough but battled throughout the day to all attest to a great experience.

John Bell stated "they were two good kids (John played with Scott Adland and Mark Purser), they played solid golf and made it easier for me - the company was good and I just had to follow them around.  I really didn't have to do anything special" he said with a wry smile.

"Its my first time both playing at The Vintage in this type of format, and I thoroughly enjoyed it".  "The wind didn't really affect me too much, being off an 11 handicap you don't really have to have pars all the way round", he commented.

NSW Open - Team Challenge Pro-Am

The 2010 NSW Open will once again feature the Team Challenge Pro-Am over the final two days of the Championship.

Tournament players who make the weekend cut are paired with amateurs to compete in the weekend Team Challenge Pro-Am using the four ball, best ball stableford scoring format.

The official draw pairing the Team Challenge Pro-Am amateurs with their tournament player partners is the highlight of the Official Championship Cut Draw party on Friday evening November 26th at The Vintage.

Limited tickets will be made available to the official draw which sees the pairing of amateur guests with tournament players.
